Currently, the Headcam can be purchased in pre-order with a free 12-month Face Capture license, with deliveries starting in September, on a first-come, first-served basis.
When purchasing our mocap tools, you get a 30-day trial (from delivery) to play around with them and decide if you want to keep them or return them for a full refund (we don't cover the return shipping costs). This way you can make sure you're buying mocap tools you actually like to use without any risk.

The Headrig mounts an iPhone in front of your face for facial motion capture using Apple's ARKit. The Headcam, however, has its own camera, dimmable LED lighting, and microphone built into it. It provides a real-time video feed for use with other solvers or connects with our Android Face Capture app for direct, real-time facial motion capture into Rokoko Studio.
No, you don't need the Face Capture add-on license to use the Headcam's direct video feed. Like a webcam, you can connect the Headcam to your computer. However, the Face Capture add-on license allows you to sync your facial animations directly into Rokoko Studio using your Android phone.
While the Face Capture app requires an Android phone, you can also plug the Headcam into your Windows or macOS computer using the included USB cable, using it as a camera input just like a webcam.
